Renault Triber has been launched today in India at a introductory price of Rs. 4.95 Lakhs.It is launched at a very competitive price tag in India.Among a number of car launches in August 2019, it was one of the much awaited vehicle from Renault.
Triber is built up on CMF-A+ platform and is one of the modular car with a number of seating arrangement options while scoring high on practicality as well.Triber is one of most muscular and bold looking car.It gets SUV type styling with very elegant and sharp projector headlamp with eagle shaped split tail lamps.Triple edge front chrome grille further accentuates the looks of the vehicle.LED daytime running lamps are placed in the position of fog lamps and are surrounded by chrome accents.
Renault Triber rides on 14 steel wheels and they get cladding as well.Overall it has got a tall boy stance thanks to massive ground clearance of 182 mm.Its length, width and height are 3990 mm, 1739 mm and 1643 mm respectively.
The major highlight of Triber is its flexible seating arrangement.It gets a number of seating modes which can be adjusted as per the number of passengers and luggage.Also, the third row is removable as well.It gets life mode (5 seater), tribe mode (7 seater), camp mode (2 seater) and surf mode (4 seater).Also boot space is 84 L in tribe mode which expands unto 320 L in 6 seater and 625 litres in 5 seater configuration.
Not only the cargo area is very big in size and Renault has done a great job in providing a number of small storage spaces inside the cabin as well.There is a total of 31 litres of storage space inside the cabin which also includes dual glovebox setup with cooling function while there is a cooled storage space in the centre console as well.
Renault Triber sports very premium dual tone interiors with silver accents on the dashboard.The fit and finish quality of the materials is excellent.There sits a 8 inch touchscreen MediaNAV infotainment system with modern tech connectivity.A 12V power socket is for all 3 rows while twin ac vents is for 2nd and 3rd row as well.
In terms of features, it boasts smart card entry, push start stop button, electrically adjustable ORVM, LED instrument cluster, best in class cooled storage space in centre console area, best in class 8 inch touchscreen system with android auto, Apple Carplay.
Not only this, Triber also features number of safety features as well including segment leading 4 airbags, reverse parking camera, remote central locking, speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensitive auto door unlock, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminder for front seats, driver seat belt with pretensioner and load limiter and high speed warning system.
A total of 6 colour schemes are available in Renault Triber which includes Metal Mustard, Electric Blue, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver and Ice Cool White.No dual tone exterior paint colours are on offer but the 6 colours are very stylish.
Renault Triber is offered only with 999 cc 3 cylinder 1.0 litre which is derived from Renault Kwid but is tuned for better performance.It is capable of producing 72 PS @ 6250 RPM and 96 NM @ 3500 RPM of maximum torque.For now, it gets the option of only 5 speed manual transmission and will be getting AMT option in later stage.
Triber comes in a total of 4 variants which includes base RXE, RXL, RXT and top end fully loaded RXZ model.The price of Renault Triber begins from Rs. 4.95 Lakhs for the base RXE model with follow up variants – RXL, RXT and RXZ costing Rs. 5.49 Lakhs, Rs. 5.99 Lakhs and Rs. 6.49 Lakhs respectively.
No doubt Triber scores well in all its aspects and will be getting a lot of sales as well.Renault has been aggressive with its launch plans in its recent months by launching Duster facelift in July and now Triber.After this, they are also bringing Kwid facelift with lots of updates to keep it refreshing and above it competition as well.
