Skoda Rapid was launched back in May 2020 with BS 6 1.0-litre 3 cylinder petrol engine and comes paired with 6 speed manual gearbox. Now the Marketing Director of Skoda India, Zac Hollis, has confirmed the launch of Skoda Rapid automatic in India.

Skoda Rapid will get a 6 speed torque converter automatic and not a DSG unit. It will produce the sam output figures as of manual counterpart (108 BHP / 175 NM). Also the exact same output figures and transmission options are offered in Polo and Vento.
