Skoda Superb BS 6 was showcased back at Auto Expo 2020 and the official bookings for the facelift Superb are now open at a token amount of Rs. 50,000.
Like the current spec Skoda Superb, the facelift of the sedan will also be available in two variants – Laurin & Klement and Sportline.L & K will be offered in a total of 5 exterior colour schemes – Moon White, Business Grey, Lava Blue, Magnetic Brown and Magic Black while for the Sportline trim, only 3 colour options will be there including Moon White, Steel Grey and Race Blue.
The Skoda Superb Sportline is the sporty variant of the sedan which comes with black elements on a number of elements including all black seat upholstery as well.Certain changes will be made including sharper and narrower LED headlamps, tweaked front bumper, refreshing front grille and more chrome element in between the LED tail lamps.
In the BS 6 era, Skoda Superb will get rid of 1.8 litre TSI petrol engine producing 177 BHP @ 4000 RPM and peak torque of 320 NM @ 1450 RPM.It gets the option of 6 speed manual and 7 Speed DSG with claimed efficiency of 14.12 kmpl and 14.67 kmpl respectively.
The other unit is the 2.0 L TDI diesel mill with 6 Speed DSG with power and torque figures of 174 BHP @ 3600 RPM and 350 NM @ 1500 RPM.It churns out fuel of 18.66 kmpl.
The Diesel engine will be discontinued and the old 1.8 L TSI engine will be replaced by 2.0 litre TSI turbocharged petrol mill with 187 BHP and 320 NM of maximum torque.It gets mated to 7 Speed DSG automatic.

Currently the Skoda Superb BS 4 1.8 L petrol variants are priced between Rs. 26 Lakhs and Rs. 31 Lakhs (Ex Showroom).The prices of Superb facelift is expected to be 30,000-45,000 higher than the current spec petrol trims.
