The Curvv EV, an electric SUV that resembles a coupe and is loaded with features and amenities, is a newly designed product from Tata Motors that will hit the market soon.
The company’s first EV to be provided in a coupe-like SUV avatar is the Tata Curvv EV, which is also the second model to be offered based on their recently created Acti.ev platform. With its exceptional style and plenty of cutting-edge features, this product has the potential to disrupt the EV market.
With a design that closely resembles its concept model, the TATA Curvv EV is predicted to have an eye-catching connected DRL configuration at the front and a projector setup positioned on the front bumpers, giving it an aggressive appearance. With its sleek coupe shape and sharply curved tail lamps at the back, it has a powerful presence on the road. In order to stand out from its rivals, it would likely feature a digital cockpit and a new-generation HMI onboard.
Based on Tata’s recently developed Acti.ev (Advanced Connected Tech – intelligent electric vehicle architecture) pure electric platform, the Curvv Ev is the second model. Thus, it is expected to come with a bigger pack of batteries and a greater range of 400 to 600 kilometres on a single charge. Plenty of next generation features are included in this platform, which also supports 11kW OBC for AC fast charging and 150kW fast charging. A 5G-ready product from Tata might shake up the electric vehicle market as it will also likely to obtain ADAS Level 2.

The Tata Curvv Ev is a brand-new product that is positioned between compact cars and SUVs. As the only electric coupe available in its class, its projected price range is between 12 and 18 lakhs (ex-showroom). Although the variations are yet to go public, they will probably come in medium- and long-range versions with two different battery configurations.
After the release of the revised Tata Nexon EV and the new Punch EV, Tata Motors is getting ready to unveil the Curvv EV later this year, along with the Harrier and Safari EV. All three vehicles will use the same Acti.ev platform and feature designs derived from their concept models. With its cutting-edge technology, Tata Motors is getting ready with its models to meet the demands of a variety of buyers.
