Top 6 Features of Upcoming Mahindra Compact SUV – XUV300

Mahindra’s upcoming subcompact SUV, codenamed S201 has been spied testing so many times for the past couple of months.S201 aka XUV300 is all set to make it’s official debut in India in the second week of December following the launch of the premium product of Mahindra,that is,XUV700 in late October.With many premium features and class leading safety equipment, it will surely threaten the high sales of it’s closest rivals.

1. Sunroof

Sunroof which is now preference of most of the customer and is popular these days will be available in the top-trims of S201.

2. 17-inch Alloys

XUV300, codenamed S201 will sit on super stylish 17-inch Alloys.Even Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V and Maruti Vitara Brezza comes with smaller 16-inch wheels,while only Ecosport Signature and S features 17-inch alloy wheels.Big wheel arches along with stylish exteriors will make it look appealing.

3. 7 Airbags

Mahindra XUV300 will be high on safety.It will be loaded with segment-first 7 airbags, Reverse Camera with guidelines, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Rear Defogger and Auto Headlamps will make the top-spec trim of XUV300 a good deal.

Rear Disc brakes will be a segment first features which will be offered in XUV300.All wheel disc brakes will add to the safety of the passengers while providing confidence to the driver.Disc brakes on all the four wheels will add to the smooth functioning of the brakes.

5. 8-inch Infotainment System

8-inch modern touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options including Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Mirror Link will be available for choice in the top trims of XUV300.

6. Powerful Engine

Under the hood,S201 will be powered by the same new 1.5-litre D15 four cylinder diesel which debuted in Mahindra Marazzo.The 1.5-litre diesel unit outputs 123 PS of power with massive torque of 300 NM.This unit is massively powerful even beating Nexon’s 260 NM diesel engine.This unit will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission while diesel automatic and petrol will make way to S201 in April 2019,which will be BSVI compliant.

So these were some of the exclusive features of Mahindra XUV300 which will debut in early december with a introductory price of Rs. 7 Lakhs going upto Rs. 11 Lakhs for the fully loaded top-spec trim.
