The price increase across the Toyota cars in India came into effect from June 1, 2020.
Toyota India has increased the prices of all its cars and SUVs expect Camry (Current Pricing – Rs. 37.88 L) and Vellfire (Current Pricing – Rs. 79.5 L) which will get a cost bump in July. Innova Crytsa MPV, Glanza, Yaris and Fortuner are the ones which has got price substantially premium than before.
New Price – Rs. 7.01 L – Rs. 8.96 L
(Price Increase – Rs. 3,000 – Rs. 25,000)
Toyota Glanza prices have been hiked between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 25,000. Although most of the variants have got premium between the price tag of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 6,000, it is the G 1.2 DualJet Smart Hybrid trim which has got a big price bump of Rs. 25,000 taking the ex showroom price from Rs. 7.22 Lakhs to Rs. 7.47 Lakhs.
Toyota Glanza is available 1.2 L K-Series VVT petrol engine which is capable of generating 82 BHP and 113 NM. It is available with 5 speed MT (G MT, V MT) sand 5 Speed CVT (G CVT, V CVT) with claimed fuel efficiency of 21.01 kmpl and 19.56 kmpl respectively.
While there is a smart hybrid petrol engine which comes in only G DualJet trim with output figures of 89 BHP and 113 NM. It comes paired with 5 speed manual transmission while delivering great fuel economy of 23.87 kmpl. Additional features of this engine are idle start stop function, brake energy regeneration and torque assist.

Toyota Yaris is available in 7 variants and all these trims comes in the option of manual as well as CVT automatic. Most of the models have got premium by Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 while the J and G variants have got a major price bump by Rs. 1.68 L and Rs. 1.2 L respectively.
Toyota Yaris is powered by 1.5 litre VVT-i petrol powertrain with 106 BHP @ 6000 RPM and 140 NM @ 4200 RPM of peak torque. It is available with 6 speed manual and 7 step CVT with claimed fuel economy of 17.1 kmpl and 17.8 kmpl respectively. Paddle shifters are also available for VX CVT.
