This year has been marked for the launch of so many new cars.Here are some of the upcoming Maruti cars in India in 2018-19.
Due to increasing competition from New Verna,Honda City and Newly Launched Toyota Yaris,Maruti has decided to update Ciaz with some minor tweaks in terms of exterior design and features on offer.This would be a facelift model of ciaz,so no major updates are expected.
Ciaz Facelift gets a wide glossy black grille with chrome inserts along with dual tone rear bumper and 16-inch dual tone silver-diamond cut alloys which makes the sedan more appealing.Some changes would be made in cabin in terms of theme choice and patterns.

Maruti New Ertiga has been spied many testing in India.Recently,India-bound New Ertiga 2018 launched at Indonesia.India’s highest selling MPV in 2018 will get a revamped exterior design.Front and rear are made more sportier with some stylish elements.New Ertiga facelift would be based on HEARTECT platform.It will share the new engines from Ciaz Facelift.The new 1.5L Fiat sourced Diesel Engine and Suzuki developed new 1.5L Petrol Engine.Also Read:Top 10 Things you need to know about New Ertiga

In this list of upcoming Maruti cars in India in 2018-19,the third one is new wagonr.Maruti WagonR,is among top 5 selling cars in India.It is one of the most successful products of MS since it’s birth.Although almost all the cars of Maruti share HEARTECT platform,but the New WagonR 2018 will not share the same platform.New WagonR will continue with tall boy design.Some upgradation will make the hatch more appealing.
It will get the same 1.0L K10B Petrol Engine producing 67bhp power.A diesel version is also expected to launch along with petrol motor.New 2018 WagonR will be launched around Diwali in october 2018.WagonR 2018 will be priced between Rs. 4.3-5.5 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi).
Maruti Vitara Brezza is the highest selling sub4-Compact SUV in India.But it is only available in diesel motor.Maruti has expressed it’s desire to launch Brezza Petrol in the later half of this year.The petrol one was not unveiled at Auto Expo 2018.Maruti has recently updated Brezza by offering AMT across all variants and increasing standard safety features.Brezza will share New 1.5L Suzuki developed engine which would power the New Ertiga and Ciaz Facelift.Petrol trims would be priced between Rs. 7.6-10 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi).2018 Petrol motor of Vitara Brezza is expected to be launched by the end of the year or by early 2019.
Maruti most awaited MPV,WagonR 7-seater is expected to be launched by March 2019.It was showcased at Indonesian Motor Show in 2013.Maruti will keep WagonR 7-seater under 4-meter.
It would be powered by 1.2L K-Series Petrol Engine.It would be similar to Datsun Go+.The MPV is expected to be priced between Rs. 4.5-6 Lakhs.
Maruti’s most premium car,Vitara was not a successful product due to high price in its segment.This time Maruti has decided to launch Vitara in its new avatar.It will get 2 seating options.One is 5 seater and other is 7 seater.New Vitara will compete with XUV500 Â and Tata Hexa.Grand Vitara is expected to get a AWD option too.2.0L Fiat sourced diesel and 1.6L petrol engine would be under the hood of Maruti Vitara..Pricing of Grand Vitara is expected to be between Rs. 13-18 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi).Also Read:Swift Vxi/VDi Features,Interior and Price
The last but not the least upcoming Maruti cars in India in 2018-19 is Baleno facelift.Maruti has been selling Baleno hatch at an average of 18,000 units every month.It was launched back in July 2015.Maruti will launch the Baleno facelift in April 2019.Under the hood,Baleno Facelift would get the same 1.2L K-Series Petrol Engine and New 1.5L Fiat-sourced Diesel Engine to comply with BS-VI norms.Pricing of facelifted Baleno is expected to increase by Rs. 30K-40K,due to introduction of new diesel motor.Some premium features could make way in 2019 Baleno.Also Read:Maruti Baleno Long Term Review
