Hyundai Verna to get 2 New Automatic Variants with Wireless Charging and much more

Hyundai India is going to introduce two new automatic variants in it’s Verna sedan lineup soon.Petrol AT will now be offered in SX+ variant while Verna will get Diesel AT in SX(O) trim which is also currently being offered in EX and SX models.Although the prices of these new added automatic trims have not yet been announced but we expect that the Petrol AT for SX+ trim would be costing around Rs. 11.30 Lakhs while the Diesel SX(O) AT would carry a price tag of Rs. 14.35 Lakhs.

What features does the SX+ Petrol AT gets?

The 1.6-litre Petrol SX+ AT gets additional equipments including wireless charging, smart trunk, smart key with engine push start/stop button.The Verna Petrol SX+ AT gets a 1.6-litre 4 cylinder VTVT petrol unit which is good for 121 BHP @ 6,400 RPM and 151 NM @ 4,850 NM.This engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.The mileage of 1.6-litre Petrol AT unit is 17.3 kmpl.There is another petrol unit, which is a smaller 1.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol motor making 99 BHP @ 6,000 RPM and 132 NM @ 4,000 RPM.This variant comes only in E and EX trims and gets mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.Fuel economy of this unit is 17.4 kmpl.

What features does the SX(O) Diesel AT gets?

Diesel SX(O) AT gets add-on features including wireless mobile charging pad, telescopic steering adjustment along with ventilated seats, sunroof, leather upholstery, all-black interiors and leather upholstery with blue stitching.Safety features includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera with sensors.Other premium features includes projector headlamps with LED DRLs, cornering lamps, 16-inch stylish diamond cut alloys, LED tail lamps, electric sunroof, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options including Android Auto, Apple Carplay and Mirror Link.This 1.6-litre Diesel SX(O) AT is good for 126 BHP @ 4,000 RPM and torque of 260 NM @ 1,500 – 3,000 RPM.This unit is also mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.The fuel efficiency of this unit is 24.35 kmpl.
