Mahindra has recently launched it’s all new compact SUV in the form of XUV300.The Brezza rival is receiving quite a good response in the Indian market as it has already received more than 4,000 bookings and has been enquired by 60,000 aspiring buyers.
All the variants of XUV 300 are loaded with top notch features and all of them clearly justifies their price tag also.In this video, we have covered the interior and exterior features of XUV 300 W4 trim.W4 is offered in both petrol and diesel manual engine options.
Exterior features of this variant includes LED tail lamps, body coloured outside rear view mirrors and door handles, black finish on lower grille and silver top strip on upper grille, sill and wheel arch cladding, black coloured front and rear skid plates.Base model rides on 205/65 R16 steel wheels without full wheel cover.
W4 gets black fabric seat upholstery, dual tone finished dashboard and blacked out inside door handles.Steering mounted controls are not provided in W4.
Comfort equipments includes 60:40 split 2nd row, Height adjustable front seatbelt, Electric tailgate release, Centre roof lamp, 12V accessory socket, Adjustable headrests for all seats in 2nd row, Padded front and armrest with storage, Bottle holder in all 4 doors, Electrically adjustable ORVMs, Driver side power window with express down, all 4 power windows and manual ac.
While 4 speakers, USB port and 1-touch lane change indicator are also offered in base model of XUV 300 but this feature is only found in W4 diesel.
The steering wheel is a smart system with 3 modes – Normal, Comfort and Sport.A Monochrome infotainment system is provided with support of BT, AUX, USB, Radio, Smartwatch connectivity, Blusense but it is only offered in 1.5 diesel base model.
MID provides information including Distance to Empty, Service reminders (diesel only), tyre position, driving time, average speed, door and tailgate open and gear shift indicator.
Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD, Corner braking control, All 4 disc brakes, Child seat anchors, Collapsible steering and Side intrusion beam, Seatbelt reminder for co driver, Front seatbelt with pre tensioner and load limiter, Speed sensing auto door lock, Impact sensing auto door unlock, Immobilizer, High mount stop lamp, Panic braking signal, Passenger airbag deactivation switch and Central locking are standard features of XUV 300 base model.
The petrol unit of XUV300 is BS-IV compliant churning 110 BHP of power and 200 NM of torque.The claimed fuel economy of this motor is 17 kmpl while it is 20 kmpl for diesel one which makes figures of 115 BHP and 300 NM.Both these variants are offered with a 6-speed manual transmission while CNG and AMT variant are set to be launched soon.
