The Indian-spec Nissan X-Trail sports the signature V-motion reverse trapezoidal grille with plenty of bling. Moving away from its third-gen curvaceous design, it now features a boxier silhouette. The front boasts split LED lighting with inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, while the rear showcases L-shaped LED taillamps. Other highlights include 20-inch multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, a rear spoiler with an integrated wiper, and a shark-fin antenna. Available colors are Diamond Black, Champagne Silver, and Solid White.

In terms of dimensions, the X-Trail measures 4680 mm in Length, 1840mm in Width, and 1725mm in Height, with a wheelbase of 2705mm. It has a 5.5 m Turning Radius and 210 mm Ground Clearance. The X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid setup, delivering 161 BHP and 300 NM of torque. It uses a shift-by-wire CVT automatic gearbox, with an AWD system and a limited-slip differential for off-roading.
The 7-seater SUV comes packed with features like a large freestanding 8-inch infotainment system, fully-digital 12.3-inch cluster, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, automatic wipers, electric parking brake with auto-hold, drive modes, center console cup holders, and wireless smartphone charging. Additional features include a 360-degree camera, paddle shifters, and sliding and reclining seats. Safety is enhanced with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, a limited-slip differential, hill-start assist, and front parking sensors.
Expected to be priced between Rs 30 – 35 lakh (ex-showroom) due to its CBU status, the Nissan X-Trail will compete with premium SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and Jeep Meridian.
