This brand is expected to unleash chaos in India with the launch of this Full-Size SUV that could give Fortuner a tough time to survive!
The new Ford Everest features a bold exterior, premium cabin upgrades, and powerful diesel engine options. It is loaded with advanced features and safety tech, setting new benchmarks for full-size SUVs in India.
How’s the Design?
The upcoming Everest receives a host of design updates over its discontinued predecessor in India. At the front, it boasts C-shaped LED DRLs, cube-shaped Matrix LED headlamps, and LED Fog Lamps. The grille showcases a hexagonal pattern with chrome accents that seamlessly blend with the headlamp units. The bumper features skid plates, while a rectangular panel houses the ADAS components. An upright hood enhances road visibility. On the side, distinct body creases, chrome door handles, and 20-inch alloy wheels add to its appeal, alongside Everest badging on the fender. Moving to the rear, L-shaped tail lamps, a roof spoiler, and a carbon finish on the bumper add a touch of sophistication.
Inside, the cabin sports black leather upholstery, a vertically-positioned 12-inch infotainment system, and similarly positioned AC vents with a wavy pattern. A panoramic sunroof floods the interior with natural light, complementing the 4-spoke steering wheel and fully digital instrument cluster. Controls for the infotainment and HVAC systems are elegantly arranged in round dials. The center console features cupholder space, a drive mode selector knob, and a new e-shifter gear lever. The second row offers bench seats split in a 60:40 ratio, while the third row splits in a 50:50 ratio.

When is it Launching?
Ford has been conducting market analysis and testing in India, as indicated by various spy shots of the Everest. Although an official launch date has not been confirmed, Ford is gearing up to start export-only production at its Chennai plant. There are also speculations about Ford launching CBU models and locally produced electric cars in the near future. So when Ford once get its operations fully started, only then the launch of Everest can be expected. Hence, we expect Ford to launch it in the late 2025 or in 2026 as CBU.
