You might have to wait a while to get your hands on the SUV as sources are reporting the SUV currently has four months of waiting period.

Honda had revealed it’ll be launching the Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos rival, Elevate SUV in the first week of September 2023, and bookings started earlier this month, but sources say one may have to wait for four months to get their hands on the SUV.

Honda Elevate Waiting Period – What you need to know!

Ever since Honda started accepting bookings for the Elevate SUV earlier this month, sources say it has received good amount of bookings that the waiting period shoot up to four months. The Elevate SUV is the first compact SUV from the carmaker in India which as been developed specifically for the Indian conditions, and it’ll first launch here before it launches in internationally.

The Elevate will be available in four variants – SV, V, VX, and ZX, and if offered in seven color options – Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl. The Advanced CVT variants gets dual-tone color options – Phoenix Orange Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl Roof, Platinum White Roof with Crystal Black Pearl Roof, and Radiant Red Metallic with Crystal Black Pearl Roof.

Under the bonnet, the SUV is powered by the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque paired to 6-speed Manual and 7-speed Advanced CVT Gearbox. This is the same engine Honda uses in their other model, City. Honda recently revealed the fuel efficiency figures for the Elevate SUV and here is the figures – 15.31 kmpl for Manual variants, and 16.92 kmpl for Advanced CVT variants.

In terms of dimensions, the Elevate has the highest ground clearance of 220mm in this segment. It measures 4312mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1650mm in height. It features a wheelbase of 2650mm and boot space of 458 litres. The Elevate SUV comes equipped with ADAS through Honda Sensing Technology used in City as well, and the Elevate will be the only SUV in this segment to offer ADAS with Manual variants.
