New Rs. 14 Lakh Harrier Rival has been spied on the road, with the model expected to introduce some new game-changing features to keep the lead!

The Mahindra XUV700 Facelift was recently spied parked during nighttime testing, revealing key design changes despite the camouflage. The updated front grille and newly shaped inverted L-style LED DRLs were clearly visible, hinting at a more modern and aggressive look for the upcoming SUV.

Exterior Updates

The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 Facelift has been spotted testing under heavy camouflage, but several new design details have surfaced. A fresh grille design is clearly visible, giving the SUV a tougher and more upright front profile. One key highlight is the appearance of new inverted L-shaped LED DRLs. While mostly hidden due to the camouflage wrap, their outline is noticeable and points to a sharper and more futuristic lighting signature.

The overall front-end styling, including the revised grille and DRLs, suggests that the facelifted model could closely resemble Mahindra’s electric SUV concept, the XEV 7e. Redesigned bumpers and a reworked lower air dam also contribute to a more aggressive and modern look.

Although the side and rear sections remain mostly unchanged in current test mules, future versions may reveal additional updates—possibly inspired by Mahindra’s EV design language.

Interior & Features

Inside, the XUV700 facelift will offer a tech-heavy cabin with three 12.3-inch screens—a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, and a third screen for the front passenger. This setup resembles what Mahindra recently showcased in the XEV 9e and brings the SUV in line with segment trends toward premium, high-tech interiors.

A new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Mahindra logo is also part of the update. The center console and AC vents are being redesigned, and better materials and new upholstery are likely to be introduced for a more upmarket feel.

Mahindra is also expected to add several much-requested features in this facelift, including:

  • Rear ventilated seats
  • Rear wireless charging pad
  • Auto-dimming IRVM
  • Digital key with NFC support
  • Powered ottoman seats in the second row
  • Multi-zone climate control for rear passengers
