Hyundai set a new record with 51,000 bookings for the new Creta in just a few months following its recent launch on January 16. For Hyundai, this is a major game-changer in the cutthroat compact SUV market.
New Hyundai Creta

Exterior Design:
Hyundai made major updates to the new Creta’s front and back fascias. With projectors positioned on the bumper and air vents below, it now has a large grille with sharp edges and a more streamlined new LED DRL configuration at the bonnet corners. All in all, it presents a modern and technological front. The side profile now has a new alloy wheel design but retains the former Creta silhouette. A new integrated LED taillamp system and bumper design gave the rear profile a significant makeover, giving it a stronger appearance from the back.
Interior Styling:
With a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, the interior boasts an opulent cabin with a digital experience. The new Creta boasts an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, an iconic d-cut steering wheel, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, and front ventilated seats. To differentiate itself from competitors in the safety division, it comes equipped with six airbags and new Level 2 ADAS technology with 19 assistance capabilities.
Powertrain:
A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 158 Bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT, is now available for the new Creta. The 1.5 L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 114 Bhp and 144 Nm of torque, as well as the 1.5 L diesel engine that produces 114 Bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque, are still available. These engine variants come with a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AT, an iVT, and a 7-speed DCT as transmission options. For the new Creta, you’ve got three engine options offered.
