Hyundai is preparing to shake up the sub-4-meter SUV segment in India with the launch of the Bayon, a coupe-styled crossover SUV set to arrive in 2026. Slated to be positioned below the Creta, the SUV will directly rival the Maruti Fronx and offer bold styling, premium interiors, and a feature-packed experience to rival top-selling compact SUVs
Hyundai Bayon: How it looks?
The Hyundai Bayon features a bold and stylish design. At the front, it gets a unique grille, split headlights, and a large lower air intake, while the upper section includes sleek LED DRLs connected by an LED strip. From the side, the Bayon stands out with its arrow-shaped C-pillar, sloping roofline, and a sharp beltline enhanced by black plastic cladding. At the rear, the SUV gets eye-catching arrow-shaped LED tail-lights that add to its sporty look. Dimensionally, Hyundai will reduce the size of the SUV from 4.2 meters to just 4-meters for tax benefits.
Inside, the Hyundai Bayon has a layout similar to the i20, boasts a dashboard with dual 10.25-inch screens – one for infotainment and the other for the digital driver’s display. Premium materials with soft-touch surfaces add to the cabin’s comfort, while ambient lighting on the dashboard and door armrests gives it a refined feel. The seats offer good space and comfort for all passengers, and there are plenty of practical storage options to boost everyday convenience. Overall, the cabin balances style with functionality.
