The upcoming 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue, codenamed QU2i, will feature a sharper, tougher exterior while preserving its signature boxy silhouette. Spy shots confirm extensive updates up front, including connected C-shaped LED DRLs like Creta and along with squared-off headlamps and a redesigned grille inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. The presence of a radar module and front parking sensors confirms the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS functionality. The new model also brings chunkier roof rails, enhanced body cladding, dual-tone ORVMs, and sportier alloy wheels with a DCT badge visible on the fenders.
The side profile is more upright thanks to a flatter beltline, adding to the SUV’s road presence. At the rear, Hyundai is likely to add connected LED tail-lamps, a black shark fin antenna, and a silver-finished bumper for a bolder, more modern appearance. One of the key mechanical upgrades is the introduction of full disc brakes on all four wheels—replacing the rear drum setup found in current variants, except the N Line.
Inside the cabin, the next-gen Venue will undergo a complete transformation. Expect a redesigned dashboard layout that mimics the latest Hyundai Creta, including dual 10.25-inch screens—one for infotainment and another for the instrument cluster. The centre console will be overhauled, and Hyundai will introduce new interior themes and ambient lighting to elevate the cabin’s overall feel.
Despite speculations around phasing out diesel engines, Hyundai will continue offering the same engine options in the next-gen Venue:
This ensures a wide range of options catering to both city commuters and performance-focused buyers.
The 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue will bring several significant feature additions that were previously missing. New highlights will include front ventilated seats, a 360-degree surround view camera, front parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold, drive and traction modes, rear window sunshades, a blind spot monitor, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and larger 17-inch alloy wheels. These additions will enhance both convenience and safety, making the new Venue far more competitive in its segment.
The all-new Hyundai Venue is expected to debut around October 2025. Prices will witness a marginal increase from the current starting price of ₹7.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the new-gen Venue will continue to compete with top contenders in the B-SUV space, including the Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and the Kia Syros.
