New Renault is Coming with the most affordable 7-Seater Car of India!

Renault India is set to launch the 2025 Triber facelift on July 23, marking six years since the MPV first arrived in the Indian market. As part of this mid-life update, the facelift receives several cosmetic enhancements, added features, and improved safety equipment while retaining its value-for-money positioning in the sub-4m MPV space.

New Exterior Design with Brand-New Logo

The facelifted Triber maintains its compact proportions and overall body shell but gets a more upmarket and modern appearance. The front fascia features a redesigned black grille with 3D-style diagonal slats, flanked by new LED DRLs and restyled headlamps. A major visual change comes in the form of Renault’s new diamond logo, debuting in India for the first time on this MPV.

At the rear, the Triber facelift sports smoked tail lamps with a revised LED signature, dual-tone black and grey bumper elements, and a new ‘Triber’ badge now repositioned to the base of the tailgate. Expect minor tweaks like new wheel covers and blacked-out accents for a more premium appeal.

Interior Tweaks and Feature Upgrades

Inside, the Triber continues with its popular seven-seater layout but will get updated upholstery, new trim inserts, and better material quality to enhance cabin feel. Renault is expected to offer a larger touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned digital instrument cluster, and additional USB charging ports and storage spaces for improved practicality.

Safety enhancements may include better crash protection and possibly more airbags, although official details are yet to be confirmed. For reference, the current Triber holds a 4-star adult safety rating and 3-star child safety rating from Global NCAP.

No Changes to Engine, But Turbo Option Under Consideration

Mechanically, the 2025 Renault Triber will continue with the same 1.0 L 3-cylinder petrol engine, producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options remain unchanged with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes on offer.

While customers have been demanding a turbocharged petrol variant for better performance, Renault is yet to confirm its introduction due to cost implications. However, this option could be added at a later stage if demand persists.

Expected Price and Variants

The outgoing Triber is priced between ₹6.10 lakh and ₹8.98 lakh (ex-showroom), and Renault is unlikely to make any major pricing changes with this facelift. The updated model is expected to start at around ₹6.15 lakh, maintaining its affordable position in the market.

The Triber will continue to be offered in four variants – RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ – making it a unique offering as the only sub-4m 7-seater MPV in India.

Final Thoughts

With its refreshed design, added features, and focus on safety, the 2025 Renault Triber facelift strengthens its appeal in the budget MPV segment. It will continue to rival Maruti Suzuki Ertiga while remaining a popular choice among buyers looking for a practical and affordable family vehicle.
