Jeep Compass vs Tata Harrier – Exterior and Interior
From the outside, it has the classic Jeep grille with seven block on it and LED headlamps, and below is the small LED foglamps. It has cuts on the bonnet for sporty look and the bumpers are blacked out. From the side, it has thin wheel arches, non-functional roof rails, and rides on the 17-inch alloy wheels. From the inside, the Jeep Compass has a 10.1-inch infotainment system positioned above the AC vents and the AC vents are aligned with chrome line to give it that one clean dashboard look. It has the dual-tone dashboard option as well. The Compass has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a huge panoramic sunroof. It has 2-zone climate control, and two USB ports at the front and rear. Around the gear lever, it has a metal toggle switch for drive modes, buttons for 4WD lock, hill descent control, 4WD low, and electric parking brake with auto hold. The push start/stop button is on the left side of the steering wheel next to the infotainment side. Moving to the rear seats, it is split in 60:40 ratio with recline seat as well.
As for the Harrier, it has the 10.25-inch infotainment system above the AC vents and at the sides it has horizontally positioned AC vent. The Harrier has the dual-tone dashboard option. It has multi-function three-spoke steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, and a huge panoramic sunroof. It has two USB ports at the front, two in second row, and two in the third row. It has drive modes selector in front of gear lever, electric parking brake with auto hold, and buttons for the ventilated seats at the side of the seat. The third row has a 40:60 split seat and second row has 60:40 split seats.

While the Jeep Compass has no turbocharged engines on offer, but the Harrier does have one turbocharged diesel engines. The 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine that pumps out 167.67 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, and drives the front wheels via a 6-speed Manual and 6-speed Automatic Gearbox with 14.6 km/l fuel efficiency and 16.35 km/l on Manual.
