Kia India and Tata Motors will soon be launching the facelift update of their compact SUV, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon. Both has great features and performance on offer, therefore, it’s better to compare the two against the each other to find that out.

Kia Sonet Facelift vs Tata Nexon Facelift – Design

The Kia Sonet Facelift will get crisper headlamp design and piano-black finished grille which is newly designed. The headlamps appears to be connected with the fog lamps vertically which might be used as LED DRLs or turn indicators. There will be new bumper as well with large fog-lamps. At the rear, the Sonet facelift has L-shaped tail lamps similar to the one seen on the upcoming Seltos where as the current one has straight tail lamps with cube-shaped light inside the tail lamps which works as brake lights and for parking lights. The current Nexon has a length of 3993mm in length which is 2mm shorter than Sonet, 1811mm in width which is wide by 21mm, and height of 1606mm that is shorter by 36mm. The current Sonet has a wheelbase of 2500mm, ground clearance of 205mm, and boot space of 392 litres where as the current Nexon has a wheelbase of 2498mm, ground clearance of 209mm that is 4mm higher, and boot space of 350 litres which is smaller by 42 litres.

So, when it comes to dimensions, we don’t expect it to change except the wheelbase could increase, the kerb weight and the gross vehicle weight could increase as well.
