Hyundai is gearing up for its biggest Venue update yet—this won’t be a regular facelift but an all-new generation. Internally codenamed QU2i, the upcoming 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue will boast an aggressive new design, a completely redesigned interior, upgraded tech, and several feature additions to outpace rivals in the compact SUV space. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the expected changes, features, and launch timeline.
The 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue (QU2i) will retain its boxy SUV stance but with sharper, more rugged styling. Spy images confirm a new front fascia featuring C-shaped connected LED DRLs like the new Creta, squared-off LED headlamps, and a bold new grille inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. A radar module and front parking sensors confirm Level 2 ADAS capability. It will also feature thicker roof rails, beefier body cladding, dual-tone ORVMs, and redesigned alloy wheels—one test mule even showed a DCT badge on the fender.

The side remains upright with a flatter beltline for better road presence. At the rear, connected LED tail-lamps, a blacked-out shark fin antenna, and a revised silver bumper enhance the SUV’s visual appeal. One key mechanical upgrade will be the introduction of four-wheel disc brakes—replacing the rear drum brakes found on current trims (except N Line).
Inside, the Venue will be completely reimagined. Expect a dashboard similar by the new Creta with dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation. The centre console will be redesigned, and Hyundai will offer fresh interior colour themes and ambient lighting for a more premium cabin experience.

Hyundai will retain all three engine options for the new-gen Venue:
1.2 L NA Petrol – 82 BHP, 113.8 Nm, 5-speed manual
1.0 L Turbo Petrol – 118 BHP, 172 Nm, 6-speed manual / 7-speed DCT
1.5 L Diesel – 114 BHP, 250 Nm, 6-speed manual
This variety will cater to a broad audience—from city commuters to performance seekers.

The next-gen Venue will add many premium features missing in the current model. These include front ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold, drive and traction modes, rear window sunshades, blind spot monitor, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and upsized 17-inch alloy wheels. These additions will significantly improve comfort, safety, and tech offerings.
The all-new Hyundai Venue is likely to make its debut around October 2025. Pricing will see a slight bump over the current ₹7.94 lakh (ex-showroom) starting price. Once launched, it will continue to rival the likes of Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and the upcoming Kia Syros.
