It is time to do another comparison of Maruti Fronx against the Maruti Brezza to see which Maruti SUV should you consider buying!
Maruti Fronx vs Maruti Brezza – Exterior and Interior
The Fronx design at the front is inspired from their own mid-size SUV, Grand Vitara. It has LED DRLs with tri-rounded LED projector headlamps below the DRLs . The bumpers of the fronx front and rear are finished in faux silver skid plate. It has body classing all over the car with 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and non-functional roof rails. Moving to the rear, it has LED taillamps with connecting LED light bar and a little spoiler at the top.
At the front as you can see, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, we can see the hard plastic front of the grille joining the LED headlamps and inside the headlamps unit is the L-shaped LED DRLs, and the bumpers both front and rear are finished in faux skid silver plate. Moving to the side, the whole SUV has body cladding with 16-inch alloy wheels and functional roof rails. At the rear, it has horizontally Y-shaped LED taillamps with rear wiper on the rear windscreen, a roof spoiler at the top, and shark fin antenna on top.
Both the cars have the same dashboard layout and the same three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with Analog instrument cluster. The same 9-inch infotainment system with AC vents below and soft-touch materials. Both the cars have 6-speakers Arkamy’s sound system and both the cars have the dual-tone dashboard option as well. The only difference between the two cars is that the Brezza has sunroof which the Fronx doesn’t have.

As you can see at the Dimensions, both the cars has a length of 3995mm. The Fronx has a width of 1765mm which is 25mm less than the 1790mm width of Brezza. The Fronx has a height of 1550mm which is 135mm shorter than the Brezza height of 1685mm. The Fronx has a height of 2520mm which is 20mm longer than the Brezza wheelbase of 2500mm. The Fronx has a ground clearance of 190mm while the Brezza has 198mm ground clearance with 8mm difference.
The Fronx has a boot space of 308 litres while the Brezza has a boot space of 328 litres which is 20 litres more on offer than the Fronx. The Fronx has a fuel tank of 37 litres and the Brezza has 48 litres of petrol fuel tank and 48 litres of CNG Tank. The Fronx has a kerb weight of 1,060 kg while the Brezza has 1,210 kg kerb weight.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has one petrol and one CNG on offer. The 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine which puts out 101.62 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque mated to 5-speed Manual Transmission with fuel efficiency of 19.89 km/l and 6-speed Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 19.8 km/l. The CNG is powered by the same 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid which in CNG puts out 86.63 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission with efficiency of 25.51 km/kg.

As you can see at the features list, the Fronx misses out on two features – Sunroof and Ambient lighting. This are the only two features which make the Brezza better over the Fronx.

The Fronx starts at Rs. 8.39 lakh for the base Sigma variant and goes all the way up to Rs. 15.12 lakh for the Alpha Turbo DT Automatic variant where as the Brezza starts at Rs. 9.31 lakh for the base LXI variant and goes up to Rs. 16.31 lakh for the ZXI Plus DT Automatic Variant.
As for the warranty, Fronx and Brezza has the same warranty period of 24 months/40,000 km which ever comes first and can be extended to 60 months/1,00,000 kms whichever comes first.
Maruti Fronx vs Maruti Brezza – Verdict
In the end, the decision to buy which car depends totally on you, however, if sunroof doesn’t matter for you, then the Fronx is a better choice over the Brezza, otherwise if you Brezza with sunroof, then you can go for it as well, as both cars are feature-loaded, has good safety features, offers comfort and are similar as well.
