Maruti Ignis vs Maruti Swift – Exterior and Interior
Form the outside, the Maruti Ignis has a U-shape LED DRLs with LED Projector headlamps between them and the grille has four U-shape blocks with Maruti Suzuki logo at the center. The Grille and the headlamps are covered in one single piece of chrome, and below that is the LED fog lamps. The bumpers at the front and rear are finished in faux silver skid plate. Moving to the side, it has a high stance like an SUV which makes getting in and out easier. It has slight cuts on body, functional roof-rails, and rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, it has spoiler on the top, rear wiper on the windshield and LED taillamps with halogen indicators.
At the front, the Swift has a big honeycomb grille for air intake for the engines and chrome strip at the center of the grille, with LED DRLs and LED projector headlamps but the fog lamps are halogens. From the side, it has alloy wheels with the door handles for the rear passengers at the window frame. Moving to the rear side, it gets LED taillamps but the indicators are halogen and a standard bumper with no sportier look.
From the inside, the Swift has a 7-inch infotainment system placed below the round-shaped AC vent and the AC vents at the side are placed horizontally. It has dual-tone dashboard theme option, and the pedals are finished in black. It has three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with analog instrument cluster, and round dials for automatic climate controls. It has one USB port at the front for charging. At the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio.
So, from the outside, the Ignis looks good as it gives sportier vibes, so does the Swift but Ignis overall look is great. From the inside, both are kinda similar, but the Swift looks a little better even though both are in need of an update.
