Three different engine options are offered for the MG Hector: a 1.5L hybrid turbo-petrol, a 1.5L turbo-petrol, and a 2.0L turbo-diesel.

The 1.5L hybrid turbo petrol engine produces 250Nm of torque between 1600 and 3600 rpm and 143PS of output at 5000 rpm. There is no automatic transmission available for this engine; only a 6-speed manual is.The 1.5L turbo-petrol engine produces 250Nm of torque between 1600 and 3600 rpm and 143PS of output at 5000 rpm. Both a CVT automatic and a 6-speed manual transmission are available for the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The 2.0L turbo diesel is expected to produce 350Nm of torque at 1750 rpm and 170PS of power at 3750 rpm. The Hector’s 2.0L turbodiesel engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

A 1.5L mild hybrid and a 1.5L hybrid petrol engine are both available for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

The 1.5L mild hybrid petrol engine produces 135Nm of torque at 4400 rpm and 101PS of power at 6000 rpm. Both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission are compatible with this engine.The 1.5L hybrid petrol engine produces 141Nm of torque between 3800 and 4800 rpm and 116PS of power at 5500 rpm. The CVT automatic transmission comes with the 1.5L hybrid petrol engine.

EXTERIOR

Front and rear skid plates in a gunmetal tone are available on the MG Hector, as are floating light turn indicators, outside door handles finished in chrome, and side body cladding finished in chrome. In contrast, the front grille of the Hyryder sports a distinctive crystal acrylic design with chrome accents. The grille is perfectly centred with the Toyota emblem. The twin LED DRLs that are mounted on either end of this SUV’s chrome garnishes. The front of the SUV Hyryder’s bumper features a brash and powerful look. On the SUV’s bumper are the distinctively designed projector LED headlamps, and the lower portion of the bumper has a trapezoidal grille with honeycomb design features. Toyota Hyryder comes with 17 inch dual-tone alloy wheels that go well with the overall design of the SUV. At the rear, there are split LED tail lamps, roof mounted spoiler, chrome garnish on the tailgate as well.
