Tata’s upcoming SUV, the new Sierra, was recently spotted in the wild, fully camouflaged during its test run. In person, the SUV looks so humongous that it gives off a strong road presence, easily rivaling larger segment SUVs. With bold proportions, tall stance, and wide shoulder lines, the Sierra stands out even under heavy camouflage.
Tata is reviving the Sierra nameplate with a modern look by having connected LED DRL strip at the front and tail-lamps at the rear. The SUV draws inspiration from the original Sierra featuring signature design elements such as prominently elevated bonnet large alpine windows, flush-type door handles, squarish wheel arches, and thick black cladding form part of the design. Inside, the Sierra features a modern cabin with three display screens – a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment unit, and an additional passenger-side touchscreen – all will be 12.3 inches. Key interior features include a four-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Tata logo and ambient lighting throughout the cabin. Reports indicate that Tata will offer both 4-seater and 5-seater configurations for the Sierra.
