Porsche 24 hours ago had globally unveiled the new third-gen Porsche Panamera, and now they have taken a step further by launching the new sports sedan for the Indian Market at Rs. 1.68 Crore.

So, it turns out the Rs. 1.68 Crore price tag is for the regular, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) V6 Panamera, and this price is before all the options. As standard, it features 8-way powered adjustable electric seats, matrix LED headlights, 6 airbags, 12.3-inch Full HD Infotainment System, Semi Active Air Spring Suspension, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Navigation, Mobile Phone Preparation, Audio Interface, and Video Interface.
The new Panamera is powered by the new 2.9 L Twin-Turbo V6 Petrol engine mated to the 8 Speed PDK Auto Gearbox, and this engine powers the rear wheels and has a two-way adaptive rear spoiler. The Power and Torque figures are not yet revealed, but in coming days it will be revealed. Additionally, Porsche revealed that the V8 Powered Panamera will launch at a later date for the Indian Market.
They also revealed that V6 and V8 Hybrids won’t launch in India because the demand for them was almost nothing. However, India will be getting the most powerful Panamera, the GTS version. The Indian Panamera will have a long wheelbase version along the regular wheelbase version. The long wheelbase version has been extended by 150mm taking the overall length to 5.2 meters.
Bookings for the new Panamera will begin from next week with deliveries expected to begin from next year.
