A New 7-Seater MPV is debuting on July 23rd to take on the likes of Maruti Ertiga!

Renault India has officially confirmed the launch date for the much-anticipated Triber facelift. The updated version of this popular B-segment MPV is set to make its debut on July 23, 2025 in Mumbai. This marks the first major design and feature update for the Triber since its launch in 2019, and Renault is promoting it with a new tagline – “Rethink Space”.

What’s New in the Facelift?

The facelifted Renault Triber will sport a refreshed exterior design to give it a more modern and rugged appearance. Based on recent spy shots, key changes include:

  • A revised front fascia with larger grille
  • Updated LED Daytime Running Lamps integrated into a redesigned headlight unit
  • New front bumper with larger air intakes and repositioned fog lamps
  • Redesigned alloy wheels or wheel covers
  • Revised LED tail lamps and a new rear bumper

These changes are aimed at improving the MPV’s road presence, giving it a slightly sportier and more upmarket appeal.

Interior Upgrades and Added Features

While the cabin layout will remain largely the same, the Triber facelift is expected to get several feature additions and tech enhancements to keep up with buyer expectations in the segment.

Likely interior and feature updates include:

  • A larger infotainment system
  • New upholstery and improved dashboard materials
  • 360 Surround View Camera
  • Automatic climate control
  • Auto Headlamps and Rain-Sensing Wipers
  • Cruise Control
  • Cooled Glovebox
  • Ambient Lighting
  • Auto-dimming IRVM
  • Sliding and Reclining Second-Row Seats
  • Front and Rear Armrests

Despite the upgrades, the Triber will continue to offer a 7-seater layout, making it one of the most versatile MPVs in its price range.

No Change in Powertrain, But CNG Option Continues

  • 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine
  • Power output: 71-72 bhp
  • Torque: 96 Nm
  • Transmission options: 5 Speed Manual (MT) / Automatic (AMT)
  • CNG option available as a dealer-level fitment

Though there were earlier talks of a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (99 bhp, 152 – 160 Nm), it still hasn’t made it to production, and there’s no official confirmation of its inclusion with this facelift.

Expected Price Hike

Currently, the Triber is priced between Rs. 6.15 – 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). With this facelift, a slight price increase is expected, but Renault will likely ensure that it remains the most affordable MPV in the Indian market.

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift brings much-needed cosmetic and feature enhancements, making it an even stronger contender in the budget MPV space. While the powertrain remains unchanged, the added features and design improvements should boost its appeal among Indian families looking for a practical, spacious, and tech-loaded 7-seater.
