This New Cruiser Motorcycle arrives in India via the CKD Route and its available in only one colour option!

Kawasaki has officially launched the 2025 Eliminator 500 cruiser motorcycle in India. Priced at Rs. 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated model is Rs. 14,000 costlier than its predecessor, despite no changes to design, features, or hardware.

Design, Features & Colour Option

The 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 continues with its classic cruiser styling. It retains the round LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, exposed frame and engine components, wide handlebar, and split seats. The bike gets an all-black treatment with a single Metallic Flat Spark Black colour option. The copper-finished exhaust pipes and brushed silver heat shield add subtle contrast.

The cruiser’s low-slung design is complemented by a scooped rider seat and forward-set foot pegs, ensuring a relaxed, upright riding posture. With a seat height of just 735 mm and a kerb weight of 176 kg, the Eliminator is accessible for a wide range of riders.

Despite the price hike, the feature list remains unchanged. It comes with a fully digital round LCD instrument cluster that includes a tachometer, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, trip meter, odometer, and clock. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity via Kawasaki’s Rideology The App, allowing access to call alerts, fuel level, ride logs, and service reminders. However, features like navigation, traction control, or riding modes are missing.

Engine, Hardware & Specs

Powering the 2025 Eliminator is a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers 45 PS and 42.6 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch as standard. This same engine also powers the Ninja 500.

Built on a high-tensile steel trellis frame, the Eliminator is equipped with telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy setup with 130/70 and 150/80 section tyres, respectively. Braking duties are handled by 310 mm front and 240 mm rear discs, supported by dual-channel ABS.

Ground clearance stands at 150 mm, which is on the lower side but manageable for city and highway cruising.

Rivals and Alternatives

The Kawasaki Eliminator 500 doesn’t have a direct rival in the Indian market. However, budget-conscious buyers looking for a retro-styled cruiser can consider the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, which starts at Rs.3.68 lakh (ex-showroom).

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 offers a premium cruiser experience with a strong road presence, refined engine, and essential modern features. While the price has gone up slightly, it still brings good value for enthusiasts looking for a stylish and comfortable middleweight cruiser.
