New Ertiga-rival will be soon getting a facelift as the test mule has been spotted testing in India!
Renault is preparing to launch the facelift of Triber MPV, as the first spy shots have surfaced online. Spotted on a flatbed truck with heavy camouflage, the test mule suggests minor exterior and interior upgrades while retaining its practical design. The update aims to keep the Triber competitive in the growing MPV segment, where it rivals models like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens.
Exterior & Interior Updates
The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is expected to feature a refreshed front fascia with revised headlights and possibly a more aggressive design. While the rear remains largely unchanged, minor tweaks to the tail lamps and bumpers may be introduced. Renault currently offers the Triber without alloy wheels, but the facelift could bring new stylized steel wheels or optional alloy wheels.
Inside, Renault may enhance the Triber’s cabin with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, auto headlights, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a wireless charging pad. Improved materials and added safety features like extra airbags and better structural rigidity could also be part of the update.
Engine & Performance
The facelifted Triber is likely to continue with the existing 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm. It will be available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. A turbo-petrol option is unlikely, but Renault may offer a dealer-installed CNG kit for added fuel efficiency.
Expected Launch & Pricing
Currently, the Renault Triber is priced between Rs. 6.10 lakh and Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift is unlikely to bring a significant price hike. With the test mule spotted in Chennai, a market launch is expected in the coming months. More details will emerge as Renault gears up to launch both the Triber and Kiger facelifts in India.
