Renault has revealed new Family SUV that’s capable of coring 1,100 KMs Distance on one single fuel tank.

Renault has introduced the 2025 Espace, a modern evolution of its family SUV. The new model features an updated design, a hybrid powertrain, and advanced technology, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.

Updated Design & Exterior Features

The 2025 Espace showcases Renault’s new design language, incorporating sharper styling elements. The front features trapezoidal adaptive LED headlights with half-diamond daytime running lights, while the rear gets tangram-inspired light signatures. The redesigned grille sports an elegant diamond pattern, and high-gloss black door protection blades enhance aerodynamics. The bonnet and tailgate have also been revamped for a more contemporary look.

Spacious & Tech-Loaded Interior

Inside, the Espace offers seating for five or seven passengers, with a second-row bench that slides up to 22 cm and reclines in four angles. The third-row seats in the 7-seater version can be folded individually into the boot floor. The highlight is the Solarbay panoramic roof, the largest in Renault’s lineup, which can switch between transparent and opaque modes via voice command or a switch.

New ergonomic front seats provide improved lateral and shoulder support, with upholstery options including 98% recycled fabric on the Techno trim and premium textiles on higher trims. Upgraded soundproofing ensures a quieter ride.

A new driver recognition system using an A-pillar camera identifies the driver and activates personalized settings such as preferred seating position, media, and frequently used Google apps. The infotainment system features a 24-inch twin-screen setup, complemented by an optional 9.3-inch head-up display with Google services, including Maps, Assistant, and Play.

Powertrain & Performance

The 2025 Renault Espace is powered by a 200 bhp full hybrid E-Tech powertrain, combining a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine with two electric motors. This setup delivers a WLTP fuel efficiency of 4.8L/100 km and CO₂ emissions of just 108g/km, providing an impressive range of up to 1,100 km on a full tank. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.8 seconds and achieves 80-120 km/h in just 6 seconds.

The 4Control Advanced 4-wheel steering system, available on Esprit Alpine and Iconic trims, enhances agility by adjusting the rear wheels’ angle based on speed, reducing the turning circle to 10.4 meters.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Equipped with 32 advanced driving aids, the Espace includes Active Driver Assist for Level 2 autonomous driving. A standout safety feature is the “Take a Break!” application, which monitors driver fatigue using eye movement and yawning detection, alerting them when a rest is needed.

Variants & Availability

The 2025 Renault Espace will be offered in three trims: Techno, Esprit Alpine, and Iconic, with color options including Baltic Blue Grey, Midnight Blue, Pearl White, and Starry Black. The Esprit Alpine trim gets an exclusive satin-finish Schist Grey shade.

Renault plans to launch the new Espace in several European markets before summer 2025.
