Honda at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 (BIMS) has garnered a lot of attention with the debut of its new Honda City Facelift Hatchback, and if you notice, the City facelift hatch shares many updates with the City Sedan launched last year in Thailand and in India.
Honda City Facelift Hatch: All You Need to Know!
The version debuted at the BIMS 2024 is the RS Variant which full black finish for the exterior. The car looks sportier with its RS-specific honeycomb-pattern for the grille and lower air intake, and new bumper. New cube-shape LED Fog Lamps, full black ORVMs, and a sporty diffuser. However, jumping inside the cabin, there isn’t much or any changes at all present.

For instance, the City Facelift hatch now gets USB Type C Charging Port which replaces the 12V Power Outlet, new magazine pocket behind the front seats, addition of electric parking brake, and few more. Moreover, Honda had upgraded the Honda Sensing Safety Suite like all the variants now get Adaptive Cruise Control, and Collision Mitigation Braking System.
The City Facelift Hatch comes powered by the 1.0 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol which produces 121 BHP and 173 NM of torque mated to 7 Speed CVT Gearbox only. On the other hand, the hybrid version gets 1.5 L Atkinson-cycle Petrol Hybrid engine producing 97 BHP and 127 NM with a 108 BHP and 253 NM Electric Motor.
In the end, the City Hatch isn’t expected to launch in India as the model is longer by 4 Meters which won’t qualify as small car and thus would attract a lot of taxes.
