Hyundai Motors has launched new variants and feature updates for the Hyundai Creta, further strengthening its position as the best-selling SUV in the above 4-meter segment. With over 1.2 million units sold since its launch in 2015, the Creta remains a popular choice for Indian buyers. The latest updates enhance comfort, convenience, and technology, making the SUV more appealing.
New Variants and Feature Additions
Hyundai has introduced two new variants—EX (O) and SX Premium—alongside feature updates for the SX (O) trim.
Hyundai Creta EX (O)
Positioned above the EX variant, the EX (O) trim offers:
- Panoramic sunroof
- LED reading lamps
Hyundai Creta SX Premium
Placed between the SX and SX (O) trims, the SX Premium variant comes with:
- Front row ventilated seats
- 8-way power adjustable driver seat
- Bose premium 8-speaker sound system
- Leatherette seats with scooped design
Hyundai Creta SX (O) Updates
The top-end SX (O) trim now includes:
- Rain sensor
- Rear wireless charger
- Scooped seats
Hyundai has also introduced a smart key with motion sensor in the S (O) and higher variants, adding an extra layer of security. Additionally, the Titan Grey Matte and Starry Night color options are now available across all Creta variants.

Hyundai Creta: Powertrain Options
The Hyundai Creta continues to offer three engine options:
- 1.5 Litre petrol engine with 6 Speed manual and IVT transmission
- 1.5 Litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7 Speed DCT transmission
- 1.5 Litre diesel engine offered with 6 Speed manual and automatic transmission
The diesel powertrain remains a popular choice, while the turbocharged petrol variant is available exclusively with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
