
This new Hyundai SUV has so much features that it could give Maruti’s Grand Vitara a run for its money!
Hyundai Motors has been spied yet again continuing the testing of its sub 4-meter SUV, the new 2nd generation Venue, but this time, it was spied equipped with the Karnataka registered plates indicating that the testing in the final phase as reported before, the new Venue will be manufactured at their new Bengaluru plant.
New Hyundai Venue: Design
The upcoming 2nd Gen Venue boasts a sharper, tougher exterior while preserving its signature boxy silhouette. Spy shots confirm extensive updates up front, including connected C-shaped LED DRLs like Creta and along with squared-off headlamps and a redesigned grille inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. The presence of a radar module and front parking sensors confirms the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS functionality. The new-gen also brings chunkier roof rails, enhanced body cladding, dual-tone ORVMs, and sportier alloy wheels with a DCT badge visible on the fenders.
The side profile is more upright thanks to a flatter beltline, adding to the SUV’s road presence. At the rear, Hyundai is likely to get tweaked connected LED tail-lamps with multiple mini LEDs, a black shark fin antenna, and a silver-finished bumper for a bolder, more modern appearance.
New Hyundai Venue: Powertrain
Despite speculations around phasing out diesel engines, Hyundai will continue offering the same engine options in the next-gen Venue:
- 1.2 L NA Petrol – 82 BHP, 113.8 Nm, 5-speed manual
- 1.0 L Turbo Petrol – 118 BHP, 172 Nm, 6-speed manual / 7-speed DCT
- 1.5 L Diesel – 114 BHP, 250 Nm, 6-speed manual
This ensures a wide range of options catering to both city commuters and performance-focused buyers.
New Hyundai Venue: Features
The new Venue will bring several significant feature additions that were previously missing. New highlights will include front ventilated seats, a 360-degree surround view camera, front parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold, drive and traction modes, rear window sunshades, a blind spot monitor, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof is expected, rain-sensing wipers, and larger 17-inch alloy wheels. These additions will enhance both convenience and safety, making the new Venue far more competitive in its segment.
New Hyundai Venue: Launch
The new Hyundai Venue is expected to launch around October 2025. Prices will witness a slight increase from the current starting price of Rs. 7.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai will be manufacturing the new-gen Venue from its new Bengaluru plant in Karnataka. Upon the SUV launch, it’ll compete with Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros. etc.
