Maruti Suzuki has launched a new SUV with 26.6 KM/KG Mileage which is the best-in class mileage in the segment!
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has officially launched the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG in the domestic market with a host of new features and enhanced safety. The updated model now comes with six airbags as standard, making it one of the safer options in its segment. After being removed from the official website and brochure earlier this year, the Grand Vitara CNG makes a comeback with these crucial updates.
New Features and Safety Enhancements
The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara S-CNG gains several key features aimed at improving comfort, convenience, and safety. The cabin now offers ventilated front seats, a wireless charging pad, and a PM 2.5 air purifier with real-time display. The rear passengers benefit from sunshades for rear windows and rear AC vents. A tyre pressure monitoring system, rear camera, auto-folding mirrors, and keyless entry are part of the updated equipment list. The SUV also gets a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a Clarion-sourced speaker setup.
On the exterior, the 2025 Grand Vitara CNG continues with stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. Automatic climate control and Suzuki Connect are also offered to enhance the overall ownership experience. Importantly, in terms of safety, six airbags now come as standard along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all four wheels, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Powertrain, Mileage, and Pricing
The 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG retains the familiar 1.5 L Dual Jet, Dual VVT K-series petrol engine that is bi-fuel capable. In CNG mode, the engine delivers 86 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. The factory-fitted CNG variant claims a fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg, making it one of the most economical SUVs in its class.
Maruti Suzuki offers the updated Grand Vitara S-CNG in Delta and Zeta trims. The Delta CNG variant is priced at Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a Rs 23,000 increase over the previous model. The Zeta CNG variant costs Rs 15.62 lakh (ex-showroom), about Rs 41,000 more than before. This price hike is mainly due to the addition of six airbags and other new features.
