Tata Motors revealed the production-ready hatchback, Altroz Racer which will compete with the one and only rival in the performance hatchback segment, Hyundai i20 N-Line, and Tata has a plan to fight the Hyundai.
2024 Tata Altroz Racer: What You Need to Know!
Tata unveiled the production-ready Altroz Racer in Orange Paint Shade at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 and since the last time we saw the Altroz Racer at the Auto Expo in January 2023, there is little changes over the Auto expo version like the front bonnet has white chequered flag stripes for sporty appeal, side profile sees new multi-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels (different from Auto Expo version), and the rear features a light bar between the two Tail-Lamps with Tata logo over it.

The interior is finished in granite black theme with orange highlights all over the cabin indicating that no matter how many exterior colour options Tata offers, the interiors will be getting the matching treatment as well so as to complement the sportiness of the hatchback.

In Engine Options, the Altroz Racer gets its power from the 1.2 L 3 Cylinder i-Turbo Petrol Engine which is tuned to generate 118.35 BHP and 170 NM of torque paired to 6 Speed Manual and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox.
In terms of features, the Altroz Racer gets new features that wasn’t initially revealed at the Auto Expo 2023 like 360 Surround View Camera, Heads-up Display (HUD), Front & Rear Parking Sensors, Ventilated Seats for Driver & Co-Passenger, 10.25-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto and Arcade app, voice-activated sunroof, new 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster which is the same unit as the Nexon’s mid variant, projector headlamps, connected taillamps, Racer badging, rear AC Vents, Wireless Charging Pad, and few more.
The Altroz Racer is expected to launch in the coming months, most likely between April and May 2024 with an expected starting price of Rs. 10 Lakhs.
