Tata Motors is all set to bring back an iconic nameplate – the Tata Sierra – in a completely new and modern avatar. This all-new SUV will offer stylish looks, powerful engines, and comfort-focused features, targeting buyers who want a premium experience without paying a premium price. Here’s everything we know so far.
The new Tata Sierra features a bold and modern design. At the front, it gets a connected LED DRL strip and at the back, it comes with sleek LED tail-lamps. Tata has kept some original Sierra elements too, like a high bonnet, large alpine windows, flush door handles, thick black body cladding, and squared-off wheel arches. These touches give the SUV a distinct identity.
Inside the cabin, the Sierra feels futuristic with three 12.3-inch displays – a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a passenger-side touchscreen. It will have a premium four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, ambient lighting, and will be available in both 4-seater and 5-seater layouts.
The Sierra is expected to offer 3 Powertrain options –
The EV version is expected to come with 2 Battery Packs – 55 and 65 kWh. 55 kWh Battery Pack used in the Curvv EV could offer 350 – 400 KM Range while the 65 kWh Battery Pack could offer 500+ KMs Range. Tata is expected to offer AWD for the EV version which will be exclusive to 65 kWh variants.
The new Sierra is expected to become Tata’s most feature-packed SUV yet.
