This new sedan got a facelift update in less than 3 years since its first launch!

Hyundai has officially revealed the 2026 Ioniq 6 facelift at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025. The updated electric sedan retains its mechanical setup but gets a refreshed design, a more premium cabin, and introduces the sportier Ioniq 6 N Line for the first time.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Facelift: Exterior Upgrades

Hyundai calls the Ioniq 6 an “electrified streamliner,” emphasizing its aerodynamic styling. The facelift draws inspiration from the RN22e concept, featuring a sleeker shark-nose bonnet and a revised front end with slim pixel-style headlights similar to the Ioniq 9. A new front splitter enhances aerodynamics, while the bumper design has been refined for a modern and aggressive stance.

On the sides, Hyundai has tweaked the rearview cameras and introduced new alloy wheels. The black accents along the lower body extend to the doors, enhancing the sedan’s streamlined look. At the rear, the large spoiler of the previous model has been replaced with a subtler elongated ducktail spoiler, complemented by chrome trim on the bumper.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Line: Sportier Styling

For the first time, Hyundai has introduced an N Line version of the Ioniq 6. This variant gets sportier design elements, including a more aggressive front bumper, N Line badging, unique alloy wheels, and additional blacked-out body panels. Inspired by the RN22e Rolling Lab, the Ioniq 6 N Line features sculpted bumpers and a lower-profile look with an extended side sill. The extensive black accents at the rear and the distinctive Parametric Pixel lamp design further emphasize its bold and performance-oriented appearance. While it retains the same powertrain as the standard model, the N Line hints at a more powerful Ioniq 6 N variant expected later this year.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Facelift: Interior and Features

Inside, the Ioniq 6 maintains its minimalist yet premium theme, following Hyundai’s “Mindful Cocoon” philosophy. The cabin features an updated three-spoke steering wheel, improved door trim materials, and a larger climate control display. Hyundai has also rearranged the center console controls for better usability.

Key features include:

  • Twin 12.3-inch digital screens for infotainment and instrumentation

  • Upgraded ambient lighting

  • 8-way electronically adjustable front seats

  • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality

  • Digital rearview camera displays integrated into the dashboard

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Facelift: Battery, Performance, and Range

The Ioniq 6 facelift continues to be offered with two battery options:

  • 53kWh battery (147 bhp, single-motor, rear-wheel drive)

  • 77.4kWh battery with two configurations:

    • 222 bhp, single-motor, rear-wheel drive

    • 322 bhp, dual-motor, all-wheel drive

Charging speeds remain capped at 233kW. While Hyundai has yet to confirm the updated range figures, the previous Ioniq 6 (77.4kWh) had a WLTP-rated range of up to 614km.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Facelift: Expected Launch

Hyundai has not announced an official launch date for the Ioniq 6 facelift. It is expected to arrive in international markets soon, though an India launch remains unconfirmed. Currently, Hyundai only sells the Ioniq 5 in India, but it did showcase the pre-facelift Ioniq 6 at Auto Expo 2023 to gauge consumer interest.
