
Tata Motors just launched a new Creta-rivalling SUV in Dark Edition with some new features which it didn’t had before!
Tata Motors has officially launched the Dark Edition of the Curvv and Curvv EV in India, with prices starting from Rs.16.49 lakh (ex-showroom). These coupe-SUVs now join the growing list of Tata’s black-themed models like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, and are introduced as the official cars of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
Tata Curvv Dark Edition: Variants, Engines and Prices
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition is based on the higher Accomplished S and Accomplished +A variants. It is available with both 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre Hyperion GDi petrol engine produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm, while the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel delivers 116 bhp and 260 Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA).
The Dark Edition commands a premium of ₹30,000 to ₹32,000 over the standard models. The variant-wise pricing is as follows:

Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition: Variant and Specifications
The Curvv EV Dark Edition is available only in the top-end Empowered +A trim, priced at Rs. 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a larger 55 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 502 km on a single charge. The EV version uses a single motor that generates 165 bhp and 215 Nm of torque.
Tata Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Edition: Exterior and Interior Highlights
The design of the Dark Edition Curvv and Curvv EV remains identical to the standard models, but with cosmetic enhancements. Both get a striking Carbon Black exterior finish, blacked-out bumpers and grille, and 18-inch dark alloy wheels with aero inserts. ‘DARK’ badging is present on the front fenders to highlight the special edition.
Inside, the cabin adopts an all-black theme with black leatherette seats and embossed #DARK lettering on the headrests. The dashboard, centre console, and door panels are also finished in black, complemented by piano black accents and blue ambient lighting.
The Dark Edition introduces two new features – Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control and Rear Sunshades, which are exclusive to this version.

Both the Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Editions are well-loaded with features. Common highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system. Additional features in the top-end Accomplished +A variant include Amazon Alexa integration, gesture-controlled tailgate, ADAS suite, air purifier, reclining rear seats, all-wheel disc brakes, and six airbags.
