Toyota’s New SUV gives 543 KMs range on single charge and its slightly longer and taller than it’s sibling itself.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially entered the Indian electric vehicle market with the world premiere of the Urban Cruiser Ebella. This mid-size SUV marks a major shift in Toyota’s local strategy, moving beyond hybrids into the mass-market EV space.
Developed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki, the Ebella is the sibling to the recently showcased Maruti eVitara. Toyota has now opened official bookings for the Ebella at an initial amount of Rs 25,000, with the official launch expected very soon.
Modern Design

The Ebella stays true to the “Urban BEV” concept shown at the 2025 Auto Expo, featuring a design that balances futuristic aesthetics with a rugged SUV stance. While it shares its core architecture with the Maruti version, Toyota has added distinct styling cues to give it a unique identity. The front fascia is defined by a bold “hammerhead” look with sleek, segmented LED DRLs and triangular headlights connected by a thick black trim.
The SUV maintains a muscular profile with squared-off wheel arches, heavy body cladding, and 18-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels designed for efficiency. At the rear, the door handles are integrated into the C-pillar to create a clean, coupe-like silhouette, while the segmented LED taillights echo the modern lighting signature found at the front.
