The new Hyundai Palisade has a much more premium and bold design than before. It combines a boxy SUV stance with smooth curves and generous chrome touches. The front features a tall grille with five horizontal slats and a large Hyundai logo above it. Vertical headlamps on each side have a unique slatted look, while the bumper gets a U-shaped brushed aluminum finish. The clamshell-style bonnet also has a rectangular-shaped indent, giving the front end a strong presence. On the side, it gets a large glass area, sharp lines, flared wheel arches, and 21-inch turbine-style alloy wheels. Silver highlights on the D-pillar and roof area, along with a slightly sloping roofline and upright tailgate, add to the SUV’s stylish profile. At the rear, the vertical tail-lamps have six light slats and a Range Rover-like rear design with bold Hyundai branding and chrome detailing.
The new Hyundai Palisade will come with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol hybrid which delivers a combined output of 329.4 bhp and 460 Nm of torque. Hyundai claims a maximum fuel efficiency of 14.1 kmpl, offering a total driving range of up to 1,015 km. The Palisade hybrid comes standard with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and a front-wheel drive setup. However, for those looking for more traction and capability, Hyundai also offers an optional all-wheel drive variant.
