Toyota at the start of this month launched the rebadged Maruti Fronx as Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor with pricing starting from Rs. 7.74 Lakh for the entry-level variant. But the main question is when’s the deliveries beginning? Let’s find out!
Toyota had started accepting bookings for the SUV just before it launched, but now everyone is asking when is the deliveries of the SUV starting from? Well, the Taisor has started arriving at the dealerships making it easy for people to check the SUV in person. This also indicates the deliveries will begin next month of May, most likely by the 2nd week.

The SUV is offered in 5 variants – E, S, S+, G, and V with 3 Engine Options – 1.2 L Petrol, 1.2 L CNG, and 1.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine with Transmissions options being 5 Speed Manual (MT) and Automatic (AMT), and 6 Speed Automatic (AT). The Taisor features cosmetic changes over the Fronx such as redesigned front grille with honeycomb pattern, Twin LED DRLs compared to Tri-Cube Nexa-ish DRLs; slightly restyled front bumpers, and flat C-shape LED Tail-lamps which is different from its donor SUV; and the LED Light bar on Taisor is same as the Fronx. Additionally, the Taisor gets a new design for the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside the layout is exactly the same as the Fronx like the free-standing 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Auto Climate control with LCD screen showing temperature; thin AC Vents, 3-spoke steering wheel with Heads-up Display (HUD) behind, and so on.
In terms of Features, it has Wireless Charging Pad, Rear AC, 9-inch Infotainment, 360 Surround View Camera, Hill Assist, 6 Airbags, Heads-up Display (HUD), Auto-Dimming IRVM, and so on.
The Taisor competes against the likes of Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
