Mahindra has officially opened bookings for the highly anticipated Thar Roxx, and the response has been nothing short of phenomenal. Within just one hour of the booking window opening at 11 AM today, the company recorded over 1.76 lakh bookings, marking the highest first-day bookings for any Mahindra vehicle.
The Thar Roxx, celebrated for its robust design and off-road capabilities, has garnered significant interest from customers across India. Despite the remarkable initial booking numbers, potential buyers should prepare for a lengthy waiting period. Bookings are available at all authorized Mahindra dealerships and through the company’s official website.
Deliveries for the Thar Roxx are set to commence on Dussehra, October 12, 2024. Following this, Mahindra will inform customers about their tentative delivery schedules in phases over the next three weeks. Notably, the company recently introduced a Mocha Brown interior color option to address customer feedback regarding the maintenance challenges of the original white interiors. Deliveries for the brown variant are expected to begin in January 2025.
Mahindra has planned a monthly production capacity of 6,500 units for the Thar Roxx, which could be adjusted upward based on ongoing demand and production efficiencies.
