2018 New Amaze Recalled over major issue;Check all details here

New Amaze recalled over a potential issue with the electric power steering of the car.This issue has affected a total of 7,290 units of Honda’s compact sedan manufactured between April 17,2018 and May 24,2018.



If you feel that your New Amaze has developed heaviness in steering and may see EPS indicator light turn on,then your car is affected.Honda said that a preventive inspection has been carried out and if required,they would replace EPS column unit.

Honda says that the problem could occur in any of the 7,290 Amaze sedans manufactured between the above mentioned dates.The inspection and replacement will be carried out for free of cost at Honda dealerships across Indian from July 26,2018,Owners of the affected Honda Amaze will be contacted individually.Customers can also check whether their car is affected by entering 17-character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) on Honda’s website. 



Honda has showcased New 2018 Amaze in India first time at the Auto Expo 2018.The car was the first one to get diesel automatic in India.2018 Honda Amaze is available with 2 engine options – 1.2L i-VTEC engine with power and torque figures of 87 bhp and 110 nm with 1.5L i-DTEC engine producing 99 bhp of power with 200 nm of torque.
