Out of nowhere, Hyundai Motors equipped the Venue SUV with the ADAS making it the first sub-compact SUV in the segment to feature ADAS. It also got a new turbo petrol engine as well.
Hyundai Motors updated the Venue and Venue N-Line with new turbo petrol engine and Hyundai SmartSense or ADAS in other words. The ADAS is available in the top variant SX(O) that is equipped with 1.0 L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5 L Diesel Engines. The Venue N Line is available in two variants – N6 and N8; the N8 variant is equipped with the ADAS. The ADAS features includes –
Then there is the new 1.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine for the Venue and the N-Line which produces 118.35 BHP and 172 NM of torque paired to the new 6-speed Manual Gearbox instead of 5-speed Manual, and as always a 7-Speed DCT Gearbox. Hyundai Venue rivals the Kia Sonet, newly unveiled Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Facelift, Maruti Fronx, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. It remains to be seen how the introduction of ADAS in the SUV affects the sales of others SUVs in the segment.
