2023 Jeep Compass 2WD Diesel Automatic Launched at Rs. 23.99 Lakh!

Jeep India has expanded the Compass line-up by launching the 2WD Diesel variants with Automatic Gearbox option at Rs. 23.99 L. Along this new engine option, Jeep has updated the Compass featuring new grille designs and alloy wheels across all variants.

The updated Jeep Compass is now available in five variants: Sport, Longitude, Longitude+, Limited, and Model S. The Compass Sport remains the entry-level variant, offered only with a diesel-manual powertrain. The manual variants have seen a price reduction, with a starting price of Rs 20.49 Lakh. Next in the lineup is the new Compass Longitude variant, which offers a 2WD manual and a 9 Speed Automatic gearbox, making it the new entry point for the Compass automatic range. The Compass Longitude is priced at Rs 23.99 Lakh, and the automatic diesel powertrain boasts a fuel efficiency figure of 16.2 kmpl

Next is the updated Compass Longitude+ trim with added features like a panoramic sunroof and a wireless charger in additions to features available on the Longitude variant. The Jeep Compass Limited comes with a new Black Shark edition, featuring an all-black interior, black alloy wheels, and ‘Ignite Red’ accents throughout the SUV. At the top of the Compass lineup is the Model S, which now also offers a 2WD Automatic option, alongside the existing 4WD automatic variants. All variants receive refreshed alloy wheel designs, while the new chrome grille is exclusive to the Limited and Model S trims.

In addition to these updates, Jeep has revealed the Meridian Overland Edition, which boasts a new grille and alloy wheel design, as well as a copper-themed interior color scheme.

The Jeep Compass will continue to be powered by the 2.0 L 4 Cylinder Turbocharged Diesel engine that generates 167.67 BHP and 350 NM of torque paired to the 9 Speed Automatic Gearbox, and has a top speed of 160 KMPH. The Jeep Compass rivals the Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and Mahindra XUV700.
