Maruti Suzuki Silently Deleted Features from the Brezza line-up but continues to offer at the same pricing!

Maruti Suzuki quietly tweaked the features list of Brezza by omitting few features from it’s variants and also made one three-point seatbelt standard for it’s SUV!

2023 Maruti Brezza Updated – What you need to know!

Maruti Suzuki, the largest and leading carmaker of India is killing in sales and performing brilliantly in the SUV Segment with Brezza. But Maruti Suzuki pulled a surprise move by silently tweaking the features list of Brezza by offering it with even lesser features than before. The 2023 Brezza now misses out on Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and hill-hold assist in CNG-powered variants; these two features were standard across all the variants of Brezza.

Another thing that was seen in Maruti Suzuki models was the Smart Hybrid system offered in both Manual and Automatic variants that consisted of idle start/stop, brake energy regeneration, and torque assist during acceleration. Maruti Suzuki has omitted Smart Hybrid System for the Manual variants leaving only the Automatic variants with this system. It’s worth noting that the CNG variants doesn’t come with Smart Hybrid System.

At the same time, Maruti Suzuki is offering three-point seatbelts for all the five passengers as standard across all the variants enhancing the safety of it’s people. With the deletion of features, and one standard feature, Maruti Suzuki hasn’t change the pricing of the Brezza SUV, it continues to start at Rs. 8.29 lakh for the base LXI variant. The 2023 Maruti Brezza at the moment is offered in four variants – LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+; all these variants are powered by the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque paired to 5-speed Manual and 6-speed Automatic Gearbox.

The 2023 Maruti Brezza rivals the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Fronx, and Tata Nexon.
