Nissan India has launched the Magnite Automatic starting from Rs. 6.50 Lakh (Ex-showroom) with bookings open at Rs. 11,000, but it’s worth noting that the launch prices are introductory, and are valid for bookings made till November 10th.

Nissan launching the Magnite Automatic variants at Rs. 6.50 Lakh undercuts the other models like the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch AMTs which are essentially a segment below. The AMT Gearbox is available across all the trims – XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium that costs Rs. 35,000 – Rs. 50,000 more than the Manual variants. The AMT Gearbox is available also on the recently launched Kuro Edition. Here’s the price of all the variants of Magnite AMT –

The 5 Speed AMT Gearbox is mated to the 1.0 L 3 Cylinder Naturally-aspirated Petrol engine generating 71.01 BHP and 96 NM of torque. Nissan is claiming an mileage of 19.70 KMPL for the AMT Gearbox, while the Manual was 19.35 KMPL mileage. The AMT variants gets Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), and Hill-Start Assist Function as Standard. Other than this, the Magnite is available with the 1.0 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol producing 98.69 BHP mated to the 5 Speed Manual and 7 Speed CVT Gearbox.

The Magnite is also being offered a dual-tone blue exterior paint option with contrasting black roof for the top variants XV, and XV Premium. Moving on, the Magnite becomes the most affordable sub 4-meter Automatic SUV undercutting it other SUVs like Exter and Punch, and just for a quick comparison, the Exter AMT starts from S variant, priced at Rs. 8.1 Lakh, and Tata Punch AMT starts from Adventure variant at Rs. 7.5 Lakh.

The Nissan Magnite rivals the Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300.
