Ather has finally launched the new 450 Apex at Rs. 1.89 Lakh and this e-scooter is finished in special Indium Blue Colour with transparent rear panel.

Ather 450 Apex: What you need to know!

The 450 Apex utilizes the same 3.7 kWh battery pack as the 450X except now the range has gone up to 157 KMs thanks to the new regenerative braking system. This new system allows you to roll the accelerator backwards to slow down the scooter without the need of braking and this mode has been name as “Magic Twist.” The 450 Apex has a motor with 7 kW peak power and the only model that comes with Warp+ Mode.

Moreover, Ather claims the 450 Apex in Warp+ mode does 0 – 40 KMPH in 2.9 Seconds and the 40 – 80 KMPH time is much better and quicker than the 450X. Notably, the 450 Apex is the only scooter to achieve 100 KMPH speed in the quickest mode. The 450 Apex is based on the same 450 Series and this means that the seat height, tyre sizes, ground clearance, etc. remains unchanged. Ather debuted new belt drive system which will be utilized on the other Ather 450 Series soon.

The Apex looks the same as the 450X in appearance except for the new paint option – Special Indium Blue Colour except the rear panel is transparent to highlight the orange chassis. The 450 Apex costs Rs. 21,000 more than the 450X. Ather doesn’t plan on selling this for long as the production of the Apex will be limited as per demand, and it’ll be manufactured until October 2024. Bookings are open with deliveries beginning from March 2024.
