Honda has officially launched the NX500 for the Indian Market at Rs. 5.90 Lakh, and the deliveries for the bike will begin from February 2024.
The Honda NX500 global debut took place at the EICMA 2023 in early November in Milan, Italy. The NX500 is powered by the 471cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC parallel-twin engine producing 46 BHP and 43 NM of torque mated to 6 Speed Gearbox with Slip and Assist Clutch. The NX500 is a motorcycle that sits on a strong diamond frame, a special kind of suspension, and a 17.5 L fuel tank. When the tank is completely filled with fuel, it weighs 196 kg, which is 3 kg lighter than the CB500X it replaces. The brakes are made by Nissin, and it has a safety feature called dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on cast alloy wheels, with a larger 19-inch wheel in the front and a 17-inch wheel in the rear.One cool feature is the 5-inch screen on the NX500 that shows important information. You can connect your smartphone to it for navigation and notifications. The NX500 comes in three colors: white, black, and red, and it also has a traction control system that you can turn on or off. The Honda NX500 is priced at Rs 5.90 Lakh, making it closer in price to the Kawasaki Versys 650 than other similar bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure. The deliveries for the bike will begin from February 2024.
