Jeep has been a tough luck in India in sales, and to ensure it sales increases in 2024, they were spied testing the Jeep Meridian with ADAS Suite in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Jeep Meridian ADAS trim spied: What you need to know!
Jeep has good line-up like Compass, Meridian, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, etc; yet its sales aren’t the way they were expecting. Now to make sure the 2024 will be the year where it hopes to make a grand statement, they were spied testing the Meridian SUV with ADAS Suite in Bengaluru. However, there are no notable design changes seen on the three-row SUV.

If you pay close attention, you will notice that there is a sticker on the door which says, “Bosch Test Vehicle” with Microphone, and Camera signs. Moreover, on the lower bumper, you can easily spot multiple cameras and two radars; and ORVMs had blind spot monitoring as well. So, what you’re thinking is correct, Jeep is testing the ADAS tech with Bosch for the Indian Market.
Although Jeep test mules are spotted in Pune or Mumbai since the FCA’s manufacturing plant is located in Ranjangaon, Pune. One reason for testing in Bengaluru could be the availability of various components. Other than the ADAS, Jeep is also expected to offer 360 Surround View Camera in works with Bosch, and rumored new 1.3 L turbo petrol engine to bring the price even down to attract more customers. Moreover, 4×4 drive system could be paired with the turbo petrol engine.
The same ADAS Suite, and Turbo Petrol Engine will be carried to the Compact SUV, Compass which is also undergoing testing but its yet to be spotted with an ADAS Suite. We expect Jeep to launch the Meridian SUV with ADAS in the first half of 2024.
