Kia had officially launched the Carens in February 2022 and since then it’s been performing good in sales. The Carens is now only 2 Years Old and recently they had updated the MPV while also increasing the pricing of it as well. Furthermore, we expect the Carens to come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Suite, featuring a Radar Module positioned at the lower air intake and a camera module mounted on the top of the windshield. The side profile is likely to remain largely unchanged, albeit with redesigned 16-inch alloys and cameras integrated into the Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs). At the rear, expect tweaked tail-lamp designs reminiscent of the Kia Seltos.Inside, the layout is expected to stay more or less the same, but with notable upgrades. A new 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster might replace the existing setup, accompanied by a refreshed theme for the dashboard. Kia may introduce new upholstery options for the cabin, while the centre console could undergo slight redesigning to accommodate an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function. Additionally, a panoramic sunroof might make its debut, with Kia potentially relocating the AC vents to the B-Pillars or below the centre armrests to accommodate it. This adjustment could lead to a sleeker dashboard design. In terms of passenger comfort, the second row might receive sunshades, while the third row could finally benefit from the addition of AC vents, further enhancing the overall comfort of occupants. In Engine Options, we expect to retain the 1.5 L Turbo Petrol delivering a staggering 158 BHP and 253 NM Torque and available with both 6 Speed iMT and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox; and the 1.5 L Diesel Engine producing 114 BHP and 250 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual (MT), iMT, and Automatic (AT) Gearbox. Now Talking about the Features list, we expect Kia to introduce new features such as 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, Powered Driver Seat, Rear Sunshades, Dual-Zone Climate Control, 6 Airbags as Standard, and so much more. For now, we have no spy shots or official confirmation from the brand about their premium MPV facelift launch, but when we do have an update, we’ll be the first one to let you know!
